Prop Order Guarantees
Facing Costumes & Props
Revised January 2007
If the production of a prop is delayed, or it appears that a prop will likely be sent ‘late’ (hand delivered or postmark date lies after the original agreed-upon completion date assigned at the time of receipt of down-payment), Facing will provide prior notification by e-mail of such an occurrence. As with the fluctuation of orders we receive, it is sometimes difficult to anticipate how much time any one project will take to complete. Often we find it necessary to move orders around within the schedule due to specific client needs and/or accommodation of larger orders. Of course we strive to meet all deadlines, as we appreciate and value the needs of our clients. It is important to let us know if you A. require the item for wear at a specific event or B. require the item for transfer to a third party on a specific date. If Facing fails to deliver a product within 60 days of original agreed-upon completion date, the client has the option of receiving a full refund. Facing takes no responsibility for prop lateness due to errors caused by the post office or delivery courier, a client’s failure to sign for delivery, or if delivery is postponed because balance, or total due, has not been paid. A down-payment on a prop/costume purchased from Facing is non-refundable, except under the special circumstances described above. Any remaining balance owed on a commissioned item must be paid in full before the item will be delivered.
A final product may differ slightly from the sketch or photo to accommodate assembly techniques and materials available.
